Rural Health, Inc. has been awarded a $200,000 grant by The Department of Health and Human Services. The funding received will be used to combat the current opioid crisis that’s taking place in southern Illinois.
Rural Health, Inc. is grateful for the grant, and believes this is a tremendous step taken to combat the epidemic that affects so many families in our region. The organization also believes this will overall strengthen communities. Only with proper prevention, treatment, and recovery services will we see a reduction in opioid related fatalities and addictions.
